LATAR BELAKANG HIDUP
DATO' PROF. DR. NORAZLANSHAH HAZALI.
Dato' Prof. Dr. Norazlanshah dilahirkan pada tanggal 11 ogos 1980 di Tawau Sabah sewaktu ayahanda
berkhidmat di Angkatan Tentera Melayu Diraja. Dibawa pulang ke Semenanjung
Malaysia dan dibesarkan di kampung halaman asal usul nenek moyangnya iaitu di
Kampung Ladang, Jambatan Duyong Melaka. Walaupun dilahirkan di dalam keluarga
yang serba sederhana namun dibesarkan penuh dengan kasih sayang dari kedua ibu
bapa.
Memulakan persekolahan di Sekolah Kebangsaan Semabok Melaka. Mengharungi
dunia persekolahan menengah di 3 buah sekolah yang berbeza iaitu Sekolah
Menengah Yok Bin, Sekolah Tinggi Melaka dan Sekolah Menengah Sains Muzaffar
Syah Melaka. Seterusnya Dato' Prof. Dr. Norazlanshah menyambung pengajian di Universiti
Kebangsaan Malaysia di peringkat sarjanamuda, sarjana dan doktor falsafah di
dalam bidang sains makanan.
Beliau berjaya
menghasilkan dan memasarkan produk-produk hasil penyelidikan beliau di bawah
jenama BYDRAZLANTM seperti
Triple-T, Khalifah-T, Golden-B, Kopi Durian Emas, Face Solution Soap,
Body Solution Soap, Glo Box dan Solar Generator. Produk-produk beliau ini
dipasarkan aktif secara online di dalam mahupun di luar negara.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Dato' Prof. Dr. Norazlanshah is currently serves as a
lecturer at the Malaysian Public University. Dato' Prof. Dr. Norazlanshah has vast experiences in
conducting training and consulting in the areas of health including food safety
(food handler training, basic food hygiene, GMP & HACCP) and diet therapy.
His specialization is in the areas of food safety and toxicology. Dato' Prof. Dr. Norazlanshah started to become an active
researcher after the completion of his Ph.D in 2009 at the age of 29 years old.
Within these years Dato' Prof. Dr. Norazlanshah managed to secure many research grants from various ministries
such as EScience fund, Research Acculturation Collaborative Effort (RACE)
grant, Research Acculturation Grant Scheme (RAGS), Fundamental Research Grant
Scheme (FRGS), Malaysian Health Promotion Board (MySihat) grant), MyRa Incentive
Research Grant Scheme (MIRGS), Exploratory research grant scheme (ERGS),
Internal grants from IIUM.
The total amount of grants is more than RM 1 Million! In the
area of supervision, Dato' Prof. Dr. Norazlanshah has completed
Post-doctoral researcher, Ph.D students and master students. Dato' Prof. Dr. Norazlanshah is also active in journal
publication locally and internationally. Dato' Prof. Dr. Norazlanshah continuously
contribute in writing quality articles for various local magazines to increase
public awareness on health. Apart from that, Dato' Prof. Dr. Norazlanshah was engaged as a consultant by
government and corporate agencies such as Petrolium Nasional Bhd (PETRONAS),
PERTONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd, KEMAS etc.
His passion in bussiness and abundance knowledge in research
and product development has tremendously help him in producing and
commercializing his own range of premium quality products under his own brand BYDRAZLANTM
such as TripleT, Khalifah-T, Golden-B, Kopi Durian Emas, Face Solution Soap, Body Solution Soap, Glo
Box and Solar Generator.
As
for the award achievements in researches and inventions, Dato' Prof. Dr. Norazlanshah won medals and special awards locally and internationally such
as gold medal and Special Award-Association Of Polish Inventors &
Rationalizers in Innovation & Technology Exhibition (ITEX), gold medal in
Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE), gold medal and Special Award in IENVEX and gold
medal and Special Award in International Conference And Exposition On Invention
Of Institutions Of Higher Learning (PECIPTA). At the university level, Dato' Prof. Dr. Norazlanshah won 1st
prize commercial potential product and medals in IIUM Research, Invention and
Innovation Exhibition (IRIIE). Apart from that, Dato' Prof. Dr. Norazlanshah won the best FRGS SPECIAL GRANT BEST
RESEARCH OUTPUT 2010 in December 2013 and was awarded the amount of RM
120,000.00 in the form of research grant by the MINISTRY OF HIGHER
EDUCATION MALAYSIA.
